隨筆塗鴉也是我在閒暇時愛做的事。

有時候碰到了一些有感而發的事，就會想將內心的想法表達出來，或許用寓意淺顯的故事來隱喻，也或許模仿起社論般犀利的筆觸，嚴肅地批評起來；當然，我都沒有將自己局限在一種寫作格式裡，總是放縱自己翱翔在文字的奧妙世界，所以我才會用“scribble”這個詞來總結我的這一類雜文，因為我並不承認我的這些文字集是散文，或是小說，應該都還沒有到那些地步吧？

只是一些隨想，一些隨筆，僅此而已。

只希望能激蕩起讀者的共鳴，牽動起你們的嘴角--會心一笑(^x^)

第一篇就來個英文的，叫The Reality Behind The Fairy Tales......どぞう！

I was in a castle, in a luxurious hall.

There was a huge crystal lamp hanging in the middle of the high-ceiling hall. The floor was so shiny that it reflected all the famous medieval portraits which were decorating the walls. Outside the windows, to my astonishment, there were thousands of bloody red roses blooming wildly.

When I was still gazing at the romantic scene in the garden through the windows, a classical music was suddenly played by someone and had soon occupied every corner of the hall. Belle, the beautiful and intelligent girl in the story Beauty and the Beast was dancing out from an open door at the right side of the hall with Beast—who was an ox-like creature with a pair of fangs in his mouth. They were now heavily absorbed into each other’s sight while moving their bodies with the rhythm. Belle, wearing a golden dress, as pretty as ever, was dancing under the gleam of happiness. Just like every story had ended with a perfect epilogue, this couple was believed to have a happy ending in the story.

“Crack!” The sound of the breaking pottery echoed from somewhere in the castle. The music stopped dead. Belle pushed away Beast angrily. In a second, the romantic atmosphere disappeared!

“How many times had I told you?” Waving her hands exaggeratedly, Belle said frustrated as she walked towards the window, not looking at Beast. “That stupid maid had broken the 36th cups in this month! Oh, my!”

Absolutely startled, I never thought that Belle would be so fierce and horrible. She always looked so patient and gentle in the story. How come she acted so strangely?

When I was still standing at the side and surprised at the sight, a roaring sound grasped me back to the reality.

“Shut up!” Beast yelled at Belle. The roar was so strong that some of the glasses on the windows broke immediately.

“Just breaking a few cups will make you crazy! She is a new-come worker, of course she will be nervous. Why do you react so hysterical on those tiny matters all the day like a stupid witch?”

What Beast had said also frightened me! Wasn’t he always so gentleman and caring towards Belle? Didn’t he love her?

“I am a stupid ugly witch?” Belle could not believe her ears, “Yes! I am too stupid to marry you! I am too stupid to love you!” She yelled back, tears shone in her eyes.

“There is no need to cry, ok?” Beast said with a softer voice. He looked uneasy and shocked seeing Belle cry. “Ok, ok! I apologize for what I had said just now.” Silent for a while, Beast murmured, “I didn’t say the word ‘ugly’…”

For a while, there was only Belle’s sobbing in the hall. Then Beast walked towards Belle who was still using her back to face him. He hugged her in the waist awkwardly. “I will let her go tomorrow. I am sorry…” Beast whispered in her ear.

Everything seemed to be back at their actual places. I just realized that even if the prince and the princess living happily at the end of the story, it was not an end but a brand new beginning. A beginning for them to start a new life together and to try to adapt to each other’s habit and life mode. They could not just dance all the day but have to face a lot of domestic problems.

“Hey, it is your responsibility to fix the windows,” said Belle thoughtfully, “then sweep the floor because your fur is all over the floor. And I remind you, not tomorrow but now to fire the maid!” And she sniffed Beast’s body, “Oh my god! When is your last bathing? You are so smelly! Stay away from me……”
